Mountain Park, the little-used outdoor concert venue in Holyoke, finally has a summer show.

Iron Horse Entertainment Group announced the signing of Indie-folk band Lord Huron to the schedule with a concert on July 20 at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets for the show are on sale beginning April 5 for $35 and come with a $10.50 in fees when purchased online at iheg.com. Tickets are also available by calling the Northampton Box Office at (413) 586-8686.

Lord Huron was founded by Ben Schneider as an outlet for his songwriting. The group’s most recent recording “Vide Noir” was released in 2018. The song “Ends of the Earth” has received generous exposure on television. It has been played on series such as Showtime’s “Shameless,” Netflix’s “Longmire,” and the series “Community.” It was also covered by country star Kenny Chesney on his album “Songs for the Saints.”

Mountain Park re-opened in 2009 with plans to eventually stage 20 to 30 concerts per season.

In 2010, its first full season of concerts, nine shows were held at the Holyoke venue including Willie Nelson, Flaming Lips and Counting Crows.

In recent years, the venue has staged only one or two performances each summer.
