HOLYOKE — A grand opening celebration at the new PeoplesBank Pedlar Banking Center attracted hundreds of visitors Saturday.

Visitors enjoyed free food and beverages provided by The Log Cabin, Hamel’s Summit View, The Dam Cafe and more. Family fun activities included free balloon sculptures, face painting, a giant bubble show and games.

Visitors toured the newly renovated Yankee Pedlar Hildreth House, and learned about its new environmentally friendly attributes and construction.

Guests had a chance to win Patriots tickets, Bruins tickets, and Six Flags passes. A live remote broadcast was provided by 94.7 WMAS-FM.

Coinciding with the grand opening was the announcement of the 2020 grand marshal for the 69th St. Patrick’s Parade in Holyoke: attorney John “Jay” Driscoll of Holyoke.
