HOLYOKE — Mothers will be treated like a “Queen for the Day” at the Holyoke Merry-Go-Round all day on Mother’s Day.

On Sunday, May 12, mothers of all ages — from moms to grandmoms — can ride for free at the Holyoke Merry-Go-Round when accompanied by a paying child.

Also, on both Saturday and Sunday, kids will receive a free Slap Bracelet with the purchase of a ticket to decorate for mom.

Merry-Go-Round spring hours are Saturday and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m.

The Holyoke Merry-Go-Round is available for children’s birthday parties, corporate and other private party rentals.

The merry-go-round is equipped to accommodate special access needs.

Holyoke Heritage State Park is located on 221 Appleton Street in Holyoke. The park offers family-oriented cultural and recreational programs. The eight-acre site is also home to the Holyoke Children’s Museum and Volleyball Hall of Fame.
